Under Construction

So for the past 1 week my 100 year old ancestral house has been under construction. The old is going to be replaced by new. Change is something that I am not always good at accepting but as they say- it is the only constant. It’s painful saying goodbye to the past but it isn’t necessarily difficult, after all it’s the legacy that matters. Like all things, undergoing change, the house is naturally a mess. There’s a lot of rubble. So, walking around the other day, I decided to document the change so i remember the process. It is very important to remember where you come from. The process is as important as the end result. So that’s what i am doing. Embracing the change. This is a deeply personal post. And i welcome you to a photographic documentation of this journey. Part 1 of the series- Under Construction. Enjoy.
